Pastor Michael C. McDougald is a native of Scotland County North Carolina, precisely Laurinburg. He resides in Garner, NC with his wife, Lady Florine McDougald. Together they have three children: Dominique and her son Aedyn of Greensboro, Kaneesha of Wagram and Clinton of the home. He is the son of Mother Ruth Buie (Malcolm) and the late Howard McDougald
God Called our Pastor into the ministry at the age of 17 and he has been a gospel preacher ever since his inception into the ministry. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Theology Degree from Apex School of Theology in Durham, NC. He has more than 12 years of pastoral experience and 30 plus years in the ministry. He has a passion for youth ministry and growing the church. God has blessed him to be effective in both areas.
His vision for the church is to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ and aiding believers to be empowered by the Holy Ghost. To make disciples that can carry this message into the uttermost places and the bring the news that God's word has not returned void, but accomplished that for which he has sent it. Come to Mount Gilead, a place of new beginnings and a place where everybody is somebody. Be healed, delivered, and set free in Jesus' name.

formerly known as Florine Marshall Horton is a native of Wilmington, North Carolina. First Lady McDougald and Pastor McDougald reside in Garner, North Carolina. Lady McDougald is a graduate of St. Augustine University of Raleigh where she received a B.S. in Organizational Management and a Masters from University of Phoenix in the same area of study. She uses this to help people to bring their lives in Kingdom order of course according to God's word. She is humbled with what God has allowed her to complete in life.
First Lady McDougald is a strong supporter of her husband. Together they have become a dangerous weapon in the arsenal of God, for Satan hates to see First Lady McDougald enter in prayer because strong holds will be broken and lives changes. Before every service and meeting the pastor enters, Lady McDougald covers him in prayer and graces her support for him with her smile and kindred spirit. Pray for our First Lady that God will continue to use her in ministry and that she continues to positively pour into lives of hurting people.
